Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
Cordova Counseling Center provides services for many Employee Assistance Programs that are a part of many employee benefits packages available through your employer. In many cases these benefits may provide a limited number of cost free services. Contact your human resource manager to find out if your employee benefits include this service.
Cordova Counseling Center provides services to a number of religious organizations in the Northwest Florida area at contract rate pricing. Typically, Cordova Counseling Center is able to provide counseling services to documented members of local churches and clergy at a reduced rate if the individual or family does not have mental health insurance coverage. You must be referred by your church or religious organization to access these benefits. Contact your organization's administrative office to find out if they have a contract with Cordova Counseling Center. They will be happy to make a referral for services on your behalf. If your church or religious organization does not contract with Cordova Counseling Center, please let us know. We will contact your organization to discuss to explain the benefits of our services.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. The Psychologists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors at Cordova Counseling Center accept most major health and medical insurance plans. For your benefits, please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
- How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Cash and all major credit cards and debit cards are accepted for payment. Personal checks may also be accepted with some restrictions. Please speak to our office staff for questions regarding payments.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the missed appointment.
